OCM Club's Original Flying Site:

Special arrangements were made with the Navy base in Lakehurst, New Jersey (United States) formerly called the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division-Lakehurst, to allow club members to fly on a specific portion of their facility referred to as Foxtrot Circle.  As a result of this arrangement, we had strict rules at this flying site that are in addition to normal AMA safety and operating procedures.

As of October 2nd, 2000, this flying site has been temporarily closed by the Navy to radio-controlled (RC) outdoor flying. Efforts were underway to attempt to re-vive this flying site.  However, as of April 2008, Navy officially notified us we would not be invited back to fly at this site through no fault of our own.
